I become fans of Mark Smith's "The Man in Seat Sixty-One . . ." website for almost ten years, his website inspires me with lots of ideas on railway travel.  Since then, I've made use of lots of ideas on his website, include sleeper travel in Germany, Poland, and Great Britain, railway travel in the Baltic States and Southeast Asia. The following is the initial plan for my Aberdeen to Aberdeen, as inspired by Mark Smith's website. Aberdeen, Hong Kong > Beijing > Moscow > Paris > London > Aberdeen, Scotland Sleeper from Russia (Taken at Kaliningrad, Russia)

From Aberdeen to Aberdeen, a journey by the rail

I love to travel by rail.  When I was young, I wonder if I can try the Trans-Siberian Railway, all the way from Hong Kong to Europe.  During my university life in the United Kingdom, I've learned a place called Aberdeen in Scotland, which makes me recall of a place of the same name in Hong Kong.  I hope that once my wallet is deep enough, and I have adequate time, I should make a long railway journey like this.  Last year, 2016, MTR extend its network near Aberdeen in Hong Kong, and this recalls my memory to plan and execute this trip.
